Olympiad maths where the child does the thinking
We are making a coach for children aged 7 to 12. The child solves a problem on a tablet, drawing and writing on a canvas as in a notebook. A companion the child chose leads the way through four steps and asks guiding questions. The companion never gives the answer away: the child writes it.

What the coach will be like
Pólya's four steps
Understand → make a plan → solve → check. The steps are always in sight.
A canvas like a notebook
The drawing is part of the solution. Hints come one at a time, with no options to pick from.
A companion of the child's own
A fox, a robot, an owl, a cat, a dinosaur, or one the child draws.
An interactive prototype: try drawing a solutionOpen full screen ↗
This is a prototype
Everything can be clicked, and the canvas takes drawing with a mouse or a finger. For now the interface is in English.
Only pretended for now
- recognising handwriting and drawings
- the companion's voice
- problems from a photo
